If you’re all caught up with Love Is Blind season 8 then you’ll know that one of this season’s biggest twists was Monica and Joey’s wedding day in the finale episode.
After solidifying themselves as this season’s golden couple early on with a quick engagement and no major issues after the pods, our hearts were broken when 27-year-old Monica Danús and 34-year-old Joey Leveille called it quits at the altar after Monica revealed that she “feels like we’re not quite there” and Joey said that he was “not 100% at this time.”
Though the couple left it open-ended enough to continue their relationship without getting married, Monica may have already shut down our hopes for a reconciliation with one simple Instagram comment.
On Feb. 2, about a year after filming for Love Is Blind season 8, Monica hinted that she was single when she responded to a commenter on Instagram who wrote, “Queen of Love is Blind.” Monica replied, “Just need my 
.”
So, we can likely assume she’s still looking for Mr. Right now but there are also some signs that Monica and Joey tried to give it a second shot.
We know filming for Love Is Blind season 8 ended in March 2024 and, by April, Monica started liking several of Joey’s posts up until November 2024, after which she stopped. Joey was regularly liking Monica’s Instagram posts from April 2024 until October 2024.
Monica and Joey have not addressed their split at the altar but things did seem somewhat final by the time their story ended on screen.
“If Joey had told me with his words, I am 100% in, it is you… I feel like it could’ve been a lot different,” Monica said. “I would have liked a different outcome but I want to be chosen, I deserve to be chosen.”
