It’s Valentine’s Day and love is in the air — and streaming on Peacock. What better way to celebrate love than by watching a rom-com or two? Or 10.

If you’re looking for some heartfelt laughs this February 14 and beyond, Peacock has you covered.

Of course, there’s the brand-new movie Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, the fourth installment in the beloved Renée Zellweger-led rom-com series. But, there are also some fun genre spins on rom-coms, adding a little sci-fi or action to the mix. And if you don’t have time for a full movie before your reservation at a romantic restaurant, there are some great Valentine’s-centric sit-com episodes on Peacock, too. Here are 10 streaming suggestions we hope you’ll fall in love with.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

It’s been almost a decade since audiences last saw Zellweger’s messy British romantic, but Bridget Jones has returned for Mad About the Boy, which follows Bridget in the wake of a tragedy that has her pursuing new love with a younger man.

Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall co-star, and franchise veterans Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are returning, as well. You can stream Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy exclusively on Peacock, as it hit the streaming service on February 13.

Meet Cute

This 2022 Peacock original film stars Kaley Cuoco as a woman who stumbles upon a time machine that she uses to relive a perfect first date with a man played by Pete Davidson over and over again. Think “What if Valentine’s Day was Groundhog’s Day?”

Meet Cute goes to some heady and at times dark places, but it’s ultimately a clever look at romance and moving forward.

The Fall Guy

Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt star in this love letter to stunt performers. Gosling plays a stuntman who attempts to woo back his ex-girlfriend (Blunt) while she’s directing her first blockbuster, only to have to put himself in harm’s way when the camera isn’t running to stop a conspiracy theory.

The Fall Guy is a blend of action, comedy, and romance, and it’s no small feat that it manages to do justice to all three genres.

Laid

Official Trailer | Laid on Peacock | NBC

Everything Everywhere All at Once’s Stephanie Hsu stars in Laid, a highly bingeable Peacock comedy about a thirtysomething who realizes that her exes — of which there are many — are starting to die in mysterious ways. With the help of her best friend (Zosia Mamet), she’s got to try to track down everybody she’s slept with and warn them of the danger.

If You Were the Last

Anthony Mackie and Zoë Chao star as two astronauts who are stranded in space when a mission goes wrong. Stuck in space with almost no chance of rescue, the two naturally become very close — and they need to decide whether or not they’re getting too close. Will their relationship become physical? Will they ever return to Earth? And, if they do, what will their spouses think?

All these questions are answered in this sci-fi rom-com, which premiered at SXSW.

30 Rock, “Anna Howard Shaw Day”

Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) would pointedly like to make it clear that this Season 4 episode of 30 Rock is not a Valentine’s Day episode despite taking place on February 14. Instead, it’s a holiday of her own invention honoring a Women’s Civil Rights leader.

Liz, who is brutally single at this point in the series, is so anti-Valentine’s that she schedules a root canal for the day to avoid feeling lonely… only to run into trouble when she can’t get anybody to escort her drugged-up self home afterward because all her friends have Valentine’s plans.

Parks and Recreation, “Galentine’s Day”

Galentine’s Day, the holiday created by Parks and Rec’s heroine Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) where she celebrates her girlfriends on the day before Valentine’s, has become bigger than the hit sit-com. Galentine’s Day became something of a cultural phenomenon, and rightly so because gal pals deserve celebration.

If you’re going to observe Galentine’s Day as well as Valentine’s, why not revisit the episode that started it all?

The Office, “Valentine’s Day”

Michael Scott (Steve Carell) traveled from Scranton to the Big Apple in this Season 2 episode of The Office, which saw a lot of Dunder Mifflin employees dealing with fallout from various romantic relationships. Michael accidentally lets it slip that he hooked up with his corporate boss, Jan, Dwight gets a bobblehead of himself from Angela, Phyllis gets too many gifts while Pam doesn’t get enough, and Ryan is regretting making out with Kelly on the day before Valentine’s.

What a messy office, am I right?

New Girl, “Valentine’s Day”

New Girl’s Max Greenfield Is Obsessed with Watching People Do CrossFit

Jess becomes the titular New Girl in this beloved sit-com because she moves in with four guy roommates following a breakup.

In This Season 1 episode, she’s looking down the barrel of her first Valentine’s Day as a single woman, so she of course turns to the loft’s resident lothario, Schmidt, to help her hook up with a stranger. That doesn’t happen, but “Valentine’s Day” is important in New Girl lore because it’s the beginning of the long-running Schmidt-Cece relationship.

Community, “Communication Studies”

The famously meta sit-com Community doesn’t unpack rom-com tropes and genre cliches as much as it might’ve had this Season 1 episode come later in the series, but it’s still a lovely and hilarious time. It’s Valentine’s Day at Greendale, and things are awkward between Jeff and Britta because she drunk-dialed him. This, in turn, makes things awkward between Jeff and his girlfriend.
