Magazine Street was a popular dining spot Friday night for A-list celebrities in town for Super Bowl LIX.
While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had an intimate dinner with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes at Lilette in Uptown, celebrity TV personality, businesswoman and cooking icon Martha Stewart sipped espresso martinis with friends less than two miles away in downtown’s Warehouse District.
Stewart, 83, wore a shimmery gold dress and brought a group of around 10 people to Gianna on Magazine Street around 7 p.m. Friday. They sat near the front of the restaurant and shared a few pizzas and plates of pasta.
The restaurant was abuzz with people, but most guests left Stewart alone to enjoy dinner.
Gianna, known for their small plates and family-style Italian fare, is not far from the Caesars Superdome, where 70,000 people are expected to attend Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
Another celebrity was also at Gianna at the same time as Stewart.
Chef Carla Hall stopped and chatted with her friend, and the two embraced before Hall and her party were seated in a different area of the restaurant’s dining room.
Stewart left the restaurant by 7:45 p.m., while Swift, Kelce and the Mahomes were at Lilette until around 10 p.m.
