The world will get another look into the goings on in Hawkins, Indiana, when “Stranger Things” returns for its fifth and final season. But when will that be?
It’s been confirmed that the highly anticipated return of the popular Netflix sci-fi horror drama will begin in 2025. Exactly when in the year has remained a mystery.
When will “Stranger Things” Season 5 premiere?
We might have to wait for most of 2025 for the start of the final season.
Blogs and social media fan accounts are speculating a Nov. 27 release, according to What’s on Netflix. That’s Thanksgiving Day in the U.S., which gives lots of Americans a long weekend to binge. But that date is unconfirmed.
Filming for the show ended last month
Show co-creator Ross Duffer posted to social media photos from the final shoots of the series.“That’s a wrap on Stanger Things. See you in 2025,” read the caption.
He lauded the cast and crew in another post.
“Everyone involved was determined to bring this story to a satisfying conclusion. They poured their hearts and souls into it, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished,” he posted. “We can’t wait to share it with you all next year. Until then—over and out.”
