Wild Card Round Prediction: Jaylen Warren More Than 21.5 Receiving Yards

Jaylen Warren was dinged up last week and ended up on Pittsburgh’s injury report, starting the week as a limited participant.

I believe that likely caused Arthur Smith to focus on Najee Harris more in the game plan, and Warren saw just 21 offensive snaps and zero receiving yards.

Before last week, however, Warren topped 25 receiving yards in four of five games, hitting 40+ in both Week 16 and Week 17.

The Steelers are likely to struggle to run the ball against the Ravens, and due to the likely game state as well as the strong run defense they are facing, will need to pass the ball more frequently.

Warren hit 44 and 27 receiving yards in two games against the Ravens this season despite being on the injury report and limited with a back injury for one of those.

Warren was not listed on the injury report at all this week and should be in shape to handle a solid workload as a receiving back.

On third downs this year, the Ravens rank #31 defending RB passes. They are allowing 8.8 YPA to RBs.

Additionally, 45% of RB targets on third down gain a first down.

That ranks dead last in the NFL.
