Is Noah Gray playing today? Injury updates for Chiefs TE

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray is having a breakout season in his fourth year with the defending Super Bowl champions.

Gray has been supremely productive in Kansas City’s recent games but was listed on the Chiefs injury reports in Week 14.

Will this affect Gray’s availability in Kansas City’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football?

Noah Gray injury update

Gray is listed with a shoulder injury but it didn’t keep him from fully participating in practice this week ahead of the Chiefs’ showdown with the Chargers.

Coaches also haven’t commented on his condition, therefore his injury is unlikely to keep him from playing.

How long will Noah Gray be out?

Gray is not expected to miss today’s game, despite his injury, but it is unclear whether it will affect his availability moving forward.

Chiefs TE depth chart

Gray plays alongside star tight end Travis Kelce. In Week 14, backups Peyton Hendershot, Jared Wiley, and Jody Fortson remain on injured reserve.

The Chiefs have often used two tight ends in their plays recently. To ensure they can continue with that strategy they have activated Baylor Cupp from the practice squad ahead of today’s game.
