NATICK, MA — The long-awaited Bosse Pickle will open in Natick on Tuesday, and those hoping to get on the court can book their time slot now.
In addition to pickleball, the location will open with a wood-fired pizza restaurant, a cafe and courtside service.
For sports fans, Bosse has partnered with the gambling company DraftKings to integrate into the location’s lounge, bringing interactive betting to the table inside the space.
The sports lounge, officials said, will feature “an immersive sports experience with DraftKings branding integrated throughout the space, in addition to DraftKings running promotions throughout the year, engaging fans around key tentpole sports moments.”
The lounge will feature a 12-foot by 9-foot video wall, as well as golf simulators, electronic dart bays and plenty of game updates. It will also offer a full-service sports bar and dining experience.
Bosse agreed to a lease at 310 Speen St. — the former location of Neiman Marcus — this time last year. At the time, the project was billed as the first “dedicated pickleball club” in Massachusetts.
The founder of Bosse Sports, D.J. Bosse, is known in the state for his other sporting businesses. Bosse designed and built Bosse Sports and Health Club, formerly in Sudbury, and also operates a facility in Boston that includes seven pickleball courts, a skills arena, a turf field and a basketball court.
According to Bulfinch, the buildout will feature 21 pickleball courts and a pickleball training center, a lounge and event space, a full-service restaurant and two bars, full locker rooms and physical therapy and personal training.
Officials said the opening week will be slightly different from regular programming, slated to begin on Dec. 2.
