Wolves are set to host Bournemouth on Saturday with Gary O’Neil providing an encouraging injury update on multiple Old Gold stars.
Wolves have a big opportunity on Saturday. After a difficult start to the season, the club looked to have finally turned a corner.
O’Neil’s side are on a four-game unbeaten streak which includes victories in their last two matches.
As a result, the Old Gold have finally pulled themselves out of the relegation zone and they sit 17th in the Premier League.
With Bournemouth up next, another win could see them pull further clear before they face fellow strugglers Everton mid-week.
Bournemouth are already set to be without Antoine Semenyo which is no doubt a big boost for the Old Gold.
Now, O’Neil has further increased optimism as he confirmed multiple first-teamers should be back for the clash.
Santiago Bueno – injury latest
Santiago Bueno’s importance in Wolves squad has dramatically increased this season.
After Yerson Mosquera’s ACL injury, the Uruguayan has been used regularly and has steadily improved as the season has gone on.
In the 2-2 draw against Brighton, Bueno was ‘outstanding’ which meant it was a huge blow when the defender picked up a knock on the recent international break.
After missing the Fulham victory, Bueno has since been spotted back in Wolves training.
Now, O’Neil has confirmed that he is fit for the clash and is ready for selection.
Expected return: Bournemouth (November 30)

Craig Dawson – injury latest
Another defender who missed out on the big victory vs Fulham was Craig Dawson. The centre-back has been at the heart of Wolves’ backline and has impressed.
However, illness kept him out of the last game which forced Mario Lemina to play in the back four.
Now, ahead of Bournemouth, O’Neil confirmed that he will be available after returning from illness.
Expected return: Bournemouth (November 30)
Pablo Sarabia – injury latest
Pablo Sarabia has once again reemerged in the Wolves set-up after limited game time at the start of the campaign.
Yet, much like last season, his performance off the bench against Brighton helped him regain his spot in the starting lineup.
This saw the Spaniard net a vital goal vs Southampton before the international break, helping the Old Gold claim their first victory in the Premier League.
Before the Fulham clash, Sarabia picked up a calf injury forcing him to miss the clash.
Ahead of Bournemouth, Sarabia is also expected to be back after O’Neil confirmed he had recovered.
Expected return: Bournemouth (November 30)
Sam Johnstone – injury latest
In recent weeks, Sam Johnstone has been a regular absentee from the Wolves squad.
The goalkeeper was brought in to challenge Jose Sa for the number-one spot but has not played since the damning 5-3 defeat to Brentford.
Johnstone was confirmed ill last weekend despite speculation from the Molineux faithful and he is expected to return to the squad vs Bournemouth.
