Brainstorm Media has shared the official Psycho Therapy trailer for the upcoming dark comedy thriller, starring Golden Globe nominee Steve Buscemi. The film is slated to arrive in New York theaters on April 4, followed by a theatrical expansion and VOD release on April 11.

What happens in the Psycho Therapy trailer?
The video introduces Buscemi as a retired serial killer, who unexpectedly becomes the consultant to a struggling writer trying to find inspiration for his book. The film also stars John Magaro as Keane, Britt Lower as Suzie, Sydney Cole Alexander as Zoe, Ward Horton as David, Olli Haaskivi as Seymour, Jacob Ming-Trent as Clint Foreman, Anthony Michael Lopez as Scott, and more.
“A writer befriends a retired serial killer in a desperate attempt to find inspiration for his next novel and save his marriage. Covering as his marriage counselor, the killer teaches him his methods as reality becomes deadlier than fiction,” reads the official synopsis.
Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write about a Serial Killer is written, directed, and produced by Tolga Karaçelik. The film is executive produced by Ahmet Kenan Bilgic, Lauren Chen, Kanat Dogramaci, Daniel John Goldberg, Can Gursoy, Tara Khorti, Julien Levesque, Özge Bulut Marasli, Irmak Pakdemir, Sanver Aykut, Christian Sosa, Aret Tasciyan, Peter Veverka, Jon Wroblewski, and Ali Yururer. Producers are Scott Aharoni, Wren Arthur, Sinan Eczacibasi, Mustafa Kaymak, Alex Peace, and Metin Alihan Yalcindag, with Natalie Kingston and Evren Lus respectively set as the director of photography and editor.
