Halle Bailey was left in tears after her toddler son recognized her on screen seemingly for the first time, and the heartfelt moment left her fans feeling emotional, too.
In a sweet new video clip uploaded to X on the evening of Wednesday, March 5, the mother of one’s 14-month-old son Halo knelt on her bed with a toy stethoscope around his neck and a hard-shell book behind him.
“Mama!” he said with a small smile as he looked from her behind the camera to the screen at the foot of the bed, causing her to laugh.
“Is that Mama?” she asked the tot—whom she shares with her ex, DDG—showing the television playing The Little Mermaid before panning back to catch the widening grin on his face.
“Guys i’m crying he actually knows ariel is me 😭🧜🏽♀️💕,” the Disney star wrote alongside the precious home video.
Fans were just as touched by the heartwarming video, with one quickly questioning, “You want me to cry Halle?? Is that it,???”
