Fortnite is about to get a facelift as Chapter 6, Season 1: Hunters comes to a close. If you’re having trouble logging in, don’t worry; servers are typically down for several hours but are expected to be back up and running Friday morning.
Once you download the update, you’ll be dropped into the new Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless map.

The current season of Fortnite will come to an end on Friday, Feb. 21, at 1 a.m. CT, NorthJersey.com reports.

Between the end of Chapter 6, Season 1: Hunters and the launch of Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, Fortnite servers will be down.
Downtime is expected to last several hours, coming back on early Friday morning.

What can we expect from the new Fortnite Lawless season?
Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless will see a return of Midas, who appeared in the first season.
The new installment will be more crime-themed, with new trains and banks to raid. The trailer showed SMG and shotgun dual-wielding, and Fortnite is introducing a new skin with Sub-Zero from Mortal Combat for his crossover debut.
There will be new locations, including Crime City, Turret Train, and more, yet to be announced. New Victory Umbrella and Battle Pass rewards are coming with the new season, so get excited about all the features to unpack.
