Police in Everett said power outages are impacting 911 services in the city, and Chelsea was answering their calls until power could be restored.

There have already been numerous reports of trees down on wires across the state, including in Wrentham, Holden and Norwell.

At Boston Logan International Airport, over 100 flights have been cancelled on Monday due to the winds, and another 228 have been delayed, according to FlightAware.

The weather forecast called for high winds, with gusts up to 50-60 mph, as the storm that dumped snow and ice across the area moves into the Gulf of Maine.
