As the rest of us trudge through winter, Olivia Rodrigo and her band of famous friends escaped the blues with a tropical getaway.
On Thursday, the “love is embarrassing” singer shared photos from her fashion-filled trip to Instagram, and, in the process, inspired my next vacation wardrobe. Leading the slideshow was a selfie of Rodrigo alongside pals Tate McRae and Iris Apatow. Rodrigo wore a black halterneck dress with white polka-dots, accessorizing minimally with thick gold hoop earrings, a chain bracelet, and a glossy rose lip.
The next snap shows Rodrigo posing on a rocky shoreline next to crystal-clear waters. Armed with snorkeling gear, the Grammy winner threw up a peace sign while wearing a cherry-red triangle swimsuit.
Other pictures continued to capture her minimalist, low-key It girl style. In one smiling photo on the beach, Rodrigo wore a breezy white eyelet top with a ruffled V-shaped neckline. She pulled back her signature long black hair into a sleek ponytail, polished off with a purple flower placed behind her ear.
Another photo showed Rodrigo channeling her inner vixen. Placing her hands on her hips and glancing to the side, she looked effortlessly cool in a classic black bodycon dress with thin shoulder straps and a scooped neckline.
After enjoying her sun-soaked getaway, Rodrigo is seemingly back to work. As the new face of Lancôme, she recently starred in a campaign for the beauty brand’s new fragrance, Idôle Power. “The first time I smelled it, I felt it was very feminine and definitely a fragrance with a bold character. I felt like I was running into a field,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s a perfume that brings out the sparkling, fun-loving part of my personality. It makes me feel like I can conquer the world with confidence. It’s a playful, pick-me-up fragrance. I wear it every day.”
