NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A former NFL Player was arrested by the North Charleston Police Department early Friday morning after he caused a multi-vehicle collision.
According to the incident report, Robert Quinn was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of a collision with property damage.
The collision occurred when Quinn, driving a maroon Ford F-150, struck the passenger side of a Honda Element which then created a domino effect where the Honda pushed into blue Ford F-150 which then struck a Purple Chrysler 300.

The report states that Officers were called to 7791 Dorchester road in reference to the collision that occurred at 2:04 a.m.
North Charleston Fire Department arrived first on scene and reported that Quinn was in a vehicle attempting to leave the scene.
Upon arrival officers observed Quinn in the front passenger seat of a white Dodge Challenger with another individual in the drivers seat. The driver of the vehicle stated that Quinn called them and asked to be picked up from the scene.
Quinn reportedly had injuries to his head and hands with fresh bleeding, consistent with injuries sustained in a vehicle collision.

Officers reported Quinn being uncooperative with them when asked to provide identification, stating that he did not need to provide his information because he didn’t do anything. They also reported he was speaking in slurred speech.
Upon relinquishing his drivers license, they identified that Quinn was the register owner of the maroon Ford.
Quinn was a Fort Dorchester High School graduate and most recently played for the Chicago Bears in 2022 and Philadelphia Eagles.
