Season 3 of the Japanese thriller is soon going to be released this year! Based on Haro Aso’s manga, the new season is get-set-ready to captivate its audience with unpredictable twists and mindblowing turns.
The previous season was streamed on December 22, 2022, and the audience has been waiting since the series left off with unresolved mysteries. This incredibly popular thriller series was the most-viewed life action series of 2020, the debut year. Netflix has officially announced its arrival this year which would revolve around the dystopian Tokyo, where individuals are forced to participate in survival games. The series follows Arisu (which is pronounced the same as ‘Alice’) who is a high school student and obsessed gamer. On a grand night after the fireworks, he wakes up in an emptied town with no one else but his two best friends. They are given an ultimatum of playing the games with high stakes or choosing to die immediately. The series chronicles their efforts to live.
Due to the delay in renewing the series, many fans predicted that there would not be a new season. The new season may begin from the moment they escape from the Borderland. According to the plot, they may not have any memory of the events. The new season may also bring a deeper, mysterious dive into the story – potentially a new game master.
